In my experience as a trader considering various Japanese brokers, I take withdrawal procedures and timelines seriously, because reliable access to my own funds is non-negotiable. With YM Securities, withdrawals are processed through either their online platform or over the phone, and funds are transferred to a pre-registered bank account. From what I could find, you can specify which working day—starting from the next business day—you want your funds to arrive, which gives a certain amount of flexibility and control. However, it's important to note that same-day withdrawals do not seem to be standard, and there is no mention of instant e-wallet transfers; everything is bank-based and strictly regulated. In practice, I've found that such systems in Japan are stable but can take one or more business days, depending on banking hours and any possible verification processes. For me, this is reassuring from a security perspective, even if it’s not the fastest. While the process lacks the immediacy of some other platforms that use e-wallets, the transparency and predictability align with what I expect from a conservatively managed, FSA-regulated Japanese brokerage. Nonetheless, anyone using YM Securities should prepare for at least a one-business-day wait for withdrawals, and plan their cash flow accordingly.
