As an experienced trader who places a premium on cost transparency, assessing CAPITAL’s swap fees has proven challenging based on the information available. While I appreciate that CAPITAL is a long-established firm regulated by the Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong, with over two decades in the market and a track record in securities, futures, options, and funds, there are notable gaps that make a direct comparison of overnight financing charges with other brokers impractical for me at this time. Specifically, CAPITAL does not disclose any detailed information about its fee structure, including swap or overnight financing costs. In my trading routine, understanding these fees in advance is essential, as they can significantly impact long-term profitability—especially for traders who frequently hold leveraged positions overnight in the futures or options markets. Major brokers typically publish detailed tables of swap rates or at least provide illustrative examples, which helps me plan and manage risk more effectively. When a broker is silent about something as fundamental as swap fees, I become more cautious. Lack of transparency can lead to unexpected costs that may erode trading performance. In my experience, this is an area where more established international brokers tend to be clearer, providing daily updated rates and easy-to-access fee breakdowns. Given the absence of clear information from CAPITAL regarding overnight financing or swap fees, I cannot fairly evaluate how their charges compare to those of their peers. For me, this lack of transparency is a red flag. Before committing to any broker, I would strongly prefer to obtain precise details about all fees that could affect my trades. Until CAPITAL provides such details, I approach their services with conservatism and recommend others do the same.
