In my experience evaluating Oriental Securities Corporation, I paid careful attention to their trading platform offerings. What stands out immediately is that Oriental Securities Corporation does not offer MetaTrader 4 (MT4), MetaTrader 5 (MT5), or cTrader—platforms that are widely used and trusted across the global trading community for forex and CFDs due to their advanced charting, automated trading, and extensive marketplace support. Instead, Oriental Securities Corporation provides only a self-developed mobile trading platform called “亞東證券-亞東e指賺,” which is available for both iOS and Android devices. This proprietary platform appears designed specifically for their local client base and focuses on traditional financial assets, primarily securities, futures, and bonds. For me, as someone accustomed to the flexibility and feature set of MT4/MT5, this is a significant limitation. The absence of these platforms means limited access to custom indicators, third-party trading tools, and algorithmic trading capabilities that are critical for many traders’ strategies. Furthermore, the broker does not support trading in forex, commodities, indices, stocks, cryptocurrencies, options, or ETFs. This makes their offering quite specialized compared to multi-asset brokers operating internationally. While their platform may be user-friendly and suitable for clients focused solely on the Taiwanese securities and futures markets, for traders seeking the robustness, global reach, or algorithmic features of MT4, MT5, or cTrader, Oriental Securities Corporation is not a suitable choice in this regard. My advice is to weigh these platform limitations carefully against your specific trading needs and experience level.
