As an experienced trader, I’ve learned that reputable brokers usually disclose such key fee policies clearly, as this directly impacts one’s ability to manage trading costs. The lack of clarity on this aspect raises concerns for me, especially since Proton Markets does not have valid regulatory oversight and carries a high risk label according to available data. Without regulation, fee structures and account policies can change without notice, and there is no trustworthy third party to hold the broker accountable. In my experience, this environment can create uncertainty for traders who wish to step away from the markets for any period of time, as unexpected fees could be imposed. Because I value transparency and regulatory protection, I would exercise extreme caution and recommend directly contacting the broker’s support for written clarification about their inactivity fee policy before even considering opening an account. Relying on ambiguous or incomplete information in a high-risk setting could lead to avoidable financial loss, which is not something I am willing to risk with my capital.
