In my personal experience researching CITIC SECURITIES for my trading needs, I found that they offer their own proprietary platforms rather than the more widely recognized MetaTrader suite or cTrader. Specifically, CITIC SECURITIES provides the XeT International APP for mobile trading and iTrade for PC and web access. I did not find any indication that MetaTrader 4 (MT4), MetaTrader 5 (MT5), or cTrader are supported. This is important for traders like me who value third-party platforms for their familiarity, technical analysis tools, and community support. The absence of MT4, MT5, or cTrader could limit the scope of automated trading strategies or custom indicators that are available on those platforms. In my view, relying on proprietary platforms requires additional due diligence to assess their reliability, security, and available trading features. I always consider whether a broker’s platform ecosystem aligns with my personal risk management and operational requirements, especially given the concerns highlighted in user feedback about withdrawal processes and transparency. For traders accustomed to industry-standard platforms, CITIC SECURITIES’ offerings might feel restrictive or unfamiliar. Personally, I approach such differences with a healthy degree of caution and recommend thoroughly testing any non-standard trading platform through available resources and support channels before committing significant capital.
