For me, transparency in this area is a crucial factor in choosing a broker, as understanding potential trading costs is essential for risk management and long-term portfolio health. In my review, I could not find direct information about their trading commissions or the spreads applied to products, which raises concerns regarding predictability of costs. Consilium appears to focus on trusts, structured products, funds, and shares rather than traditional forex instruments, so the standard industry benchmarks for spreads and commissions used in forex trading simply may not apply here. Still, even when dealing in shares or funds, reputable brokers typically publish their fee schedules openly. The absence of this data makes it difficult for me to accurately compare Consilium to other brokers I’ve used or researched. Furthermore, the lack of information may contribute to uncertainty when assessing what you might be charged per transaction or ongoing management fees, especially since there is no indication of demo accounts or minimum deposit requirements. Personally, I am extremely careful with brokers that offer little clarity around costs, as hidden fees can significantly affect net returns. Given the high potential risk indicators and the absence of specific fee disclosures, I would approach Consilium with caution and recommend seeking clear, written confirmation of all costs directly from the firm if you’re considering opening an account. For me, cost transparency remains non-negotiable in the brokerage selection process.
