Registered in Hong Kong in April 2006, Shanxi Securities International Financial Holdings Limited (SSIF) holds a Type 2 (Futures Contract Trading) regulated business licence from the Hong Kong SFC. SSIF is a wholly owned subsidiary of Gelin Dahua Futures CO.,LTD, a company among the first three mainland futures companies to receive approval from the China Securities Regulatory Commission to set up a subsidiary in Hong Kong. In February 2016, SSIF became a wholly-owned overseas subsidiary of Shanxi Securities Co., Ltd., a major Chinese financial institution.

According to regulatory information, SSIF’s office in Hong Kong is at 29/F, Tower 1, Admiralty Centre, 18 Harcourt Road, Hong Kong. A team is sent to this site for a field survey.

According to the address, the surveyors came to Harcourt Road, where they took a few minutes’ walk before reaching Admiralty Centre. Next to the Admiralty Centre was a Hong Kong-style snack bar, where the surveyors bought their breakfast and took an escalator to enter the office building next door. According to the owner of the store, there are many people working in the office building.

Survey staff found a directory sign on the ground floor. After a careful check, they found that SSIF’s office was on the 28th Floor. The names of the companies listed on the sign were very dense, so it was clear that there were a lot of companies stationed here.

Surveyors came to the door of SSIF’s office, where the company logo, the neatly placed green plants and a grand-looking reception desk were all in a glance. The surveyors then walked in and visited the office. The company was estimated to have about 10 people working here.
