Purpose

The Indonesia forex market is an emerging market that has developed in recent years. With the continuous development of Indonesia's economy and the gradual opening of its financial markets, the importance of forex trading in Indonesia has become increasingly prominent. To help investors or professionals gain a more comprehensive understanding of forex brokers in this region, our on-site inspection team conducted visits in Indonesia.

Process

The on-site inspection team went to Indonesia as planned to visit the forex broker Universal Futures. According to public information, its office address is APL Tower, 39th floor,  39 T-7, Jl. Lt. Gen. S. Parman Kav. 28, Tj. South Duren, Grogol Petamburan – West Jakarta – Indonesia 11470.

A professional and experienced on-site inspection team, driven by a sense of mission to rigorously vet for investors, traveled to Indonesia according to a meticulous plan. They conducted a physical verification of the broker Universal Futures, which claimed to be located at APL Tower lt. 39 T-7, Jl. Lt. Gen. S. Parman Kav. 28, Tj. South Duren, Grogol Petamburan – West Jakarta – Indonesia 11470.

The inspection personnel successfully arrived at APL Tower, located at Jl. Lt. Gen. S. Parman Kav. 28. The surrounding area is relatively bustling, with a strong commercial atmosphere. No signage or related information of the company was found on the exterior of the building.

The on-site investigator entered the building lobby and stated their purpose to the security personnel. After communication, they obtained permission to enter. On the directory board inside the building, there was no information about this company.

Upon arriving at the target floor, floor 39, the on-site inspection personnel found no office area signage about Universal Futures. When inquiring with the office staff, they indicated they had never heard of this company. Due to having no information about this company, the inspection personnel could not enter the interior and were unable to photograph this company's reception area and logo. Furthermore, this floor was not a shared office space.

Through the common areas of the floor, the on-site inspector was unable to observe the company's internal environment. The overall situation does not match its claimed positioning.

Therefore, after the on-site inspection, it was confirmed that broker Universal Futures does not exist at the above address.

Conclusion

The on-site inspection team visited the forex broker Universal Futures in Indonesia as scheduled. At its public business address, the team was unable to see any information such as the broker's company name, indicating that the broker does not have a genuine business premises. Investors are advised to make their choices after comprehensive consideration.
