Deducting My Funds Without Notifying the User That day, I opened my account and found that my balance had inexplicably decreased by 2200U. No SMS, no app notifications, no emails—no notification whatsoever. I asked customer service, and they said it was a "risk margin deduction.\" I asked what the basis was? Where is the risk? Customer service only said \"system determination\" and told me to look at a certain clause in the user agreement myself. The user agreement is hundreds of pages long. I spent the whole night searching and couldn't find any clause stating \"can deduct directly without user consent.\" This isn't risk control; this is directly moving my money. 2. Arbitrary Risk Control, Accounts Frozen Without Warning A few days after the deduction, I logged in normally to trade, and suddenly a pop-up appeared: \"Account exhibits abnormal behavior, trading and withdrawals have been restricted.\" I submitted all identity verification, facial recognition, and photos holding my ID card—all passed. But the risk control restriction was not lifted. Customer service always gave the same line: \"Determined by the risk control department, cannot disclose specific reasons.\" In plain terms, the fate of the entire account was handed over to a shady platform. 3. The Most Outrageous Part: Social Media Threats, No Withdrawal Unless Posts Are Deleted I posted my experience on Weibo—no insults, just stating facts. Then, WEEX's social media team found me: \"Please delete the relevant false statements. After deletion, we can prioritize handling your withdrawal issue." Translation: If you don't delete the post, you won't get your money. This isn't fabricated; I will include the private message screenshot as well. Would a legitimate exchange use users' funds as leverage to force users to stay silent? In the end, I deleted the post, and the withdrawal restriction was lifted. But I saw clearly: At WEEX, your money is not your money, your account is not your account, and your voice is not your voice. Final Words If you still have funds at WEEX, I suggest withdrawing them as soon as possible, in small batches, don't leave too much. If you haven't used this platform yet, please steer clear. A platform that can arbitrarily deduct funds, arbitrarily freeze accounts, and threaten users with withdrawals to delete posts is not worth investing a single cent.
