On-site visit
In this issue, the survey team went to Singapore to visit forex broker CMCMarkets as planned according to its regulatory address that 9 Raffles Place #30-02/03 Republic Plaza Tower 1 048619.
On November 10, 2023, the investigators came to Republic Plaza Tower 1 at 9 Raffles Place in the heart of Singapore CBD. The Republic Plaza is one of the tallest office buildings in Singapore, comprising two towers and one 10-storey podium building, with a direct underground connection to the Raffles Place MRT station. Additionally, the building enjoys a fabulous location accessible easily via public transports.
Upon arrival at the tower for further investigation, the survey personnel spotted a digital directory in the lobby, which displayed that office 30-02/03 is occupied by CMCMarkets on the 30th floor.
And then the survey team proceeded to the 30th floor by the elevator, and discovered from the floor directory that CMCMarkets is situated in office 30-02/03.
According to the floor directory, the team easily found the office of CMCMarkets, with its company name and logo prominently displayed in the office.
Through the on-site investigation, it is confirmed that the company has a physical presence at the place.
Conclusion
The survey team went to Singapore to visit forex broker CMCMarkets as scheduled, and found the name of the company at its regulatory address. This suggests that the broker has a physical business office at the location. Meanwhile, investors are advised to make a sensible decision following an overall consideration.
